Jackall Wam Wam Flare

JACKALL’s WAMWAM FLARE is a factory-tuned model based on the WAMWAM series, enhanced with the lifelike presence of silicone rubber. Made from a high-specific-gravity material heavily infused with salt, it achieves a compact profile while weighing approximately 3.5 g for the WAMWAM FLARE 48 and approximately 5.5 g for the WAMWAM FLARE 60. It is easy to handle even on a weightless rig, combining casting control with effective fall performance.

The body features parts that imitate legs and antennae, generating fine, quivering movements during retrieves. In addition, the resilient silicone rubber responds to subtle changes in water flow and trembles, creating a strong presence during the fall and near the bottom. Another key feature is the ability to change the action by altering the hook rigging. With a standard weightless rig using the “regular rigging” method, it falls while maintaining a horizontal posture, making it suitable for probing vertical structure closely. When rigged from the antennae side using the “reverse rigging” method, it produces a slow backsliding action with extended hang time, making it ideal for sliding into cover from the front. The 48 offers a compact profile and lively handling, while the 60 takes advantage of its greater volume and weight. It also incorporates a shrimp formula blended with shrimp powder and shrimp oil.
