JACKALL’s PEACETON SHAD 2.8-inch is a shad-tail soft bait designed to imitate a baitfish separated from the school when paired with the PEACETON WIRE. Its compact size is ideal for micro-bait patterns, and it can also be used on a variety of rigs as a standalone bait.
The shad tail at the rear of the body catches water during a steady retrieve or mid-strolling, generating strong and complex vibrations. While the split tail of the accompanying PEACETON FLY represents a solitary fish swimming with subtle vibrations, the PEACETON SHAD provides a more pronounced appeal. When rigged on the PEACETON WIRE, the movement of the wire creates the motion of a school, which can be combined with the vibrations of the shad tail. When using the soft bait by itself, you can select a rig according to the intended application. To attach it to the PEACETON WIRE, insert the head straight onto the tip’s specially shaped soft-bait keeper in a vertical orientation. It is also compatible with mid-strolling using the jig head at the tip. An eye sticker sheet is included, allowing you to apply eyes as desired.
