Jackall Drift Fly

JACKALL’s DRIFTFRY is a realistic soft lure developed primarily for mid-strolling, allowing anglers to work the mid-water column with its lip-equipped body. The lip on the head catches water resistance, making it easier to adjust the swimming depth while limiting forward movement, while also converting rod input into a rolling action. The 4-inch model features a moderate vibration generated by the twisting of the body and tail. Cutting the tail fin reduces the twisting and allows the vibration to be tuned to a more natural level. The original model uses Live Core construction, a two-layer molding process in which the core and main body are molded separately, creating greater depth in its texture and color.

The Elastomer Series uses a highly buoyant material, making it suitable for buoyancy-based presentations such as surface twitching and hover-strolling. The 3-inch and 4-inch models feature guide holes and nail-sinker holes in the lip, making it easier to set the hook and adjust buoyancy and running depth. The 2.5-inch model was redesigned with a taller body to suit its smaller size, creating a body balance that readily produces a rolling action. Input is transmitted throughout the entire body, producing an action in which the tail kicks at the end. The 2.5-inch model can be used for mid-strolling, hover-strolling, and drop-shot rigs; the 3-inch model for surface twitching and Bama-strolling; and the 4-inch model for hover-strolling, allowing anglers to choose the size according to the characteristics of each model and material. Store the Elastomer models separately from other lures to prevent deformation and color transfer.
