JACKALL’s SOUL FLAT is a minnow/shad that inherits the SOUL SHAD’s stable performance during high-speed retrieves, while its tall, flat-sided body enhances low-speed action and flash. The wide, flattened body pushes a strong amount of water, attracting fish across a broad area with its flashing effect and vibration. It is effective in heavily stained water and low-light conditions, as well as during periods such as cold water and post-spawn, when a slower presentation is required. By adopting the SOUL SHAD’s lip shape, it maintains a straight-running action even when retrieve speed is varied from slow to fast, while at low speeds, its flat-sided body produces a pronounced, dynamic action.

During the cast, the moving weight is released from its magnetic hold and shifts toward the rear of the body, providing a weight-transfer system that increases casting distance. By adjusting the retrieve speed, anglers can bring out the distinctive appeal of the flat body, which differs from that of the SOUL SHAD. The SOUL FLAT 58SF measures 58 mm in length and weighs 6.8 g, with a slow-floating specification and standard RB-M #8 hooks.
