Jackall Beak

JACKALL’s BEAK is a small rubber jig developed for “hanging” fishing, in which the line is caught on bushes, laydowns, and other cover, allowing the lure to be shaken in place while maintaining the desired depth. It is designed for an approach that continues enticing suspended fish from the same position.

The head uses high-purity resin tungsten and features a special shape with angled edges on the bottom, allowing it to slip deeper into cover rather than riding up over underwater obstacles. The line eye has limited movement, helping prevent the knot from shifting forward and making it easier to maintain a horizontal posture underwater. During retrieval, the protruding sinker section contacts obstacles first, helping reduce snagging and the pickup of debris. The silicone fine skirt responds to subtle movements and flares naturally, while the fluorine-coated, heavy-wire hook is built for powerful fights around cover. Suitable trailers include the RV Bug 1.5-inch and other worms in the 2- to 3-inch range. Available in three weights: 2.3 g, 3.3 g, and 4.3 g.
