Jackall B Crawl Swimmer

JACKALL’s B Crawl Swimmer is a rubber jig designed with a focus on swimming presentations, based on Yoshitaka Nishimura’s “Bush Crawling” approach to fishing shallow cover and areas around bushes with a swim jig. The head is made from resin tungsten, with a consistent head profile across the 3/16 oz, 1/4 oz, and 3/8 oz sizes. This configuration helps maintain a consistent retrieve speed, feel, and action even when changing weights, making it easier to adjust only the target depth. The flat-sided head enhances the rolling action, while the carefully selected hook eye angle and two V-shaped wire weed guards help maintain swimming balance while providing cover deflection and responsive hook setting.

It is designed to be paired with the B Crawl Flapper 3.8-inch trailer, which produces a moderate amount of retrieve resistance. The basic presentation is a steady retrieve, with the swimming depth adjustable through rod tip height and retrieve speed. As a general guide by weight, the 3/16 oz model runs at approximately 0.1–0.8 m, the 1/4 oz model at approximately 0.3–1.3 m, and the 3/8 oz model at approximately 0.5–1.8 m. It can be used from the surface to the bottom for swimming presentations, as well as on the fall and for bottom-bumping.
