JACKALL’s DOWZ SWIMMER is a jointed big bait designed to draw bass in with an S-shaped action and trigger their predatory instincts with darting movements created by jerks. The popular DOWZ SWIMMER 220SF features a three-jointed body with a substantial 220 mm profile. When retrieved at a steady speed, the joints work together to create a smooth S-shaped action. When manipulated with the rod or jerked, it transitions into a wide, controlled side-to-side darting action with minimal erratic movement. Its key feature is the ability to show following bass a change in movement rather than relying solely on a monotonous swimming action.

The tail is made of elastomer and is designed to provide a natural swimming action and stability during the retrieve. The three-jointed construction helps prevent the body from bending into a V-shape or rotating during casting, stabilizing its flight and helping reduce line tangles around the hooks. The standard configuration is slow-floating. A sinker can be attached to the eyelet on the lower jaw, allowing weight adjustments for a sinking tune to target deeper ranges.
