Jackall D-Bill Shad

JACKALL’s D-BILL SHAD is a floating shad developed for the cranking shad method. It features a unique “Duckbill Lip” that combines a round lip with a square lip. When contacting cover or the bottom, the lip rides over obstacles as if it were licking them. The design helps anglers work around cover while reducing snags by preventing the lip from digging in too deeply and keeping the hooks positioned behind the lip.

Inside, it is equipped with a “Dual Mag Weight Transfer System” that combines two different magnets. During the cast, the weight disengages to increase casting distance, while during the retrieve, it is less likely to disengage when contacting cover, contributing to a stable swimming balance. It can be retrieved from slow to extremely fast speeds and is well suited to pausing after deflecting off an obstacle to let the lure rise, as well as steadily retrieving it along the contours of a hard bottom. The 55SR and 55MR are designed for different applications, with approximate diving depths of 0.8–1 m for the 55SR and 1.5 m for the 55MR. The standard hooks are RB-M #8. The 55SR is suited to targeting shallow ranges, while the 55MR is ideal for working deeper water and focusing on bottom contact.
