Jackall Chubble

JACKALL’s CHUBBLE is a minnow-shaped crankbait designed to resemble medium-sized baitfish such as pale chub and juvenile mullet, combining the silhouette of a minnow with the cover-deflection performance of a crankbait. Its floating body is equipped with a square bill, allowing anglers to efficiently approach complex cover such as standing timber, laydowns, and shallow rocky areas. The square bill not only helps deflect off obstacles, but also contributes to a quick-starting, crisp action. A magnetically fixed weight-transfer system using neodymium magnets provides increased casting distance, while a bumper that minimizes interference between the body and magnets also helps maintain straight-running stability. Designed to respond to techniques such as stop-and-go retrieves and twitches, it can be used across a range of retrieve speeds, from steady retrieves to high-speed retrieves.

The CHUBBLE SR is designed to dive to a maximum depth of 1.2 m. Taking advantage of the square bill’s cover-deflection performance, it is suited to quickly covering shallow water from the bank or a boat. The CHUBBLE MR features a duckbill-shaped bill that helps it stay close to structure even after contacting an obstacle, allowing anglers to target fish with a stable action while reducing the risk of snagging. It reaches a maximum depth of 1.8 m, covering shallow to mid-range water. Its action is tuned toward a relatively tight wobble-and-roll. Both models can be used with stop-and-go retrieves incorporating pauses for the lure to rise, or by retrieving after contacting cover. The recommended stock hooks for both the SR and MR are RB-M #6 short-shank hooks.
