Jackall Red Spool

JACKALL’s RED SPOOL is a fluorocarbon line designed with an emphasis on balancing suppleness and strength. A special surface treatment enhances abrasion resistance and knot strength, making the line suitable for a wide range of fishing applications, from finesse techniques such as light rigs to moving baits, fishing cover, and big baits. Its key feature is the ability to maintain comfortable handling while also providing the strength needed to battle fish after the hookset.

All models are parallel-wound and feature a construction designed to reduce deterioration when not in use. In addition to the standard model, the lineup includes RED SPOOL BF, designed for delicate bait finesse presentations. The BF has a slightly stiffer feel and less stretch than the standard model, making it easier to detect contact with the bottom or structure. It minimizes power loss during the hookset and supports an aggressive, proactive hooking style. Line strength can be selected according to the rig, tackle, and presence or absence of cover, allowing the line to be used for light rigs on spinning tackle and finesse rigs around cover with bait finesse tackle. A pound-test rating sticker is included with the spool, allowing you to label the reel and confirm the line strength being used.
