Jackall Geronimo Chico DR

JACKALL’s Geronimo CHICO DR is a small balsa crankbait developed for cover cranking. Its body is made from ultra-light balsa wood, giving it a super-high-float characteristic that is difficult to achieve with an ABS body and helping it avoid snags when contacting cover. The action generated by its lightweight body is an ultra-high-pitch combination of a powerful wobble and roll.

While taking advantage of balsa’s natural characteristics, the components that control the action—including the lip, line tie, and weights—feature the “Axe Frame Structure,” in which ABS is precision molded as an integrated unit. By using molded components for the key parts inside the body, this design minimizes the performance differences that can occur between individual balsa lures and improves stability. While the CHICO has a diving depth of approximately 1.5 m, the CHICO DR covers depths of up to approximately 2.0 m. It measures 44 mm in length, weighs 8.0 g, and features a floating design, allowing you to choose the model according to the target depth. The manufacturer’s compatibility chart specifies an ST-36BC treble hook in size #8 and a ring in size #2.
