Jackall Oval Ring

JACKALL’s Oval Ring is an oval-shaped split ring designed to be attached to a lure’s line eye. By stabilizing the knot position, it is intended to bring out the lure’s natural action. Unlike conventional round split rings, it features a structure with a single wire section on the side that contacts the lure’s head and a double-wire section on the side where the line is tied. On the single-wire side, the contact point with the lure is concentrated at one location, consolidating the point of force and contributing to a crisp action. Meanwhile, the double-wire side is designed so that the two wires are tied together, helping prevent the ring from opening when subjected to load.

Made from SUS304 stainless steel, the Oval Ring uses thicker wire than conventional round split rings and snaps, with strength also taken into consideration. After attaching it to the line eye, tying the line to both wires on the double-wire side allows the design’s intended benefits to be utilized. The oval shape makes it easier to align the positions of the line and ring, helping reduce tangles and other issues while bringing out the lure’s natural action. It is available in four sizes—SS, S, M, and L—so you can select the appropriate size for the lure and line eye.
