Jackson’s IGARABA was developed to “grab the water and search quickly,” based on the custom small rubber jig that Makoto Igarashi used in tournaments for many years. It combines a high-density resin tungsten head with a 90-degree line eye, while the silicone skirt uses wide, thick rubber strands. By firmly catching water, the rubber creates resistance on the retrieve, making it easier to feel how the lure is working.

The skirt has a reduced number of strands to prevent the rubber from excessively slowing the fall. This allows anglers to cover the water efficiently while enticing fish on the fall and searching different depths at a good pace. Thanks to the 90-degree line eye, the head tends to maintain a horizontal posture during the fall and when worked with a downward swimming action, making it versatile for everything from swimming presentations to working near the bottom. Available weights are 1/32 oz, 3/64 oz, and 1/16 oz, all fitted with a #4 hook. Despite being a lightweight small rubber jig, it is designed to search efficiently while maintaining a clear sense of control by taking advantage of the skirt’s water resistance and the head’s stable posture.
