Jackson’s EGU JIG is a small rubber jig developed to trigger bites under high-pressure conditions. In the official catalog, it is introduced as a pioneering small rubber jig and positioned as a model for tackling tough conditions through a combination of falling and shaking techniques.

The basic lineup includes 1/32 oz, 3/64 oz, 1/16 oz, 5/64 oz, and 3/32 oz models. These light weights can be used to entice fish on the fall, followed by shaking after the jig reaches the bottom or while it is suspended in the water column. The combination of the skirt’s subtle movement and the jighead’s presence makes it easy to create presentations with minimal forward movement. The trailer’s type and volume can be used to adjust water resistance, fall speed, and the level of attraction during shaking.

The BF Cover Jig is a derivative model designed for fishing dense cover that is difficult to target with a standard small rubber jig, featuring a head shape that generates stronger water displacement. Depending on the trailer, the head’s movement changes to a rolling or shaking action, while the brush-style worm keeper helps reduce trailer wear. In the version combining the BF Cover Jig with a delicate EGU JIG skirt, reduced skirt resistance prioritizes slipping through cover and a faster fall.
