Shimano World Jerk

Shimano’s WORLD JERK is a jerkbait designed with strength and controllability in mind for targeting fish-eating species both in Japan and overseas. Built to a robust specification with a thick-bodied construction and large hooks, the 110 Series includes the floating 110F and sinking 110S models. The 110S measures 110 mm in length, weighs 21 g, and is equipped with two #3 treble hooks featuring heavy-gauge wire.

During the retrieve, it produces a pronounced wobbling action, then shifts into sharp darting movements when jerked or twitched. This design allows a single lure to cover both minnow-style fishing with a steady retrieve and jerkbait-style fishing with rod manipulation. Inside, the lure features Flash Boost, in which a reflector is suspended on a spring, continuing to flash not only during the action but also while the lure is stationary during pauses or drifts. In addition, the Jet Boost weight-transfer system supports a stable flight posture during casting and helps the lure begin swimming quickly, while the body surface incorporates Scale Boost, which replicates the scales of a baitfish. The 110F is suited to presentations higher in the water column by utilizing its buoyancy, while the 110S supports depth-focused fishing that incorporates a sinking presentation, allowing anglers to choose between them according to conditions.
