SHIMANO’s Bantam Bt Bait 77F is a dead-slow micro swimbait designed for selective conditions when fish are difficult to trigger with a retrieve, continuing to entice them even when left stationary or drifted. Its compact 77 mm, 5 g size is well suited to periods when baitfish such as wakasagi and ayu fry are small, while its three-section jointed body produces a pronounced action during the retrieve.

The jointed body, which grips the water effectively, responds sensitively to even slight surface changes and supports a natural drift action created by current and waves. In addition to retrieving at a steady speed, it can be allowed to drift without taking up line or worked around pinpoint cover while keeping its travel distance to a minimum. The tail has a vertically symmetrical design, so it can be attached without concern for insertion direction. For long-term storage, remove the tail and keep it from coming into contact with other soft-plastic materials. It is equipped with two #12 hooks and features a floating design for use primarily on the water’s surface.
