Shimano Bantam Triple Impact

SHIMANO’s Bantam Triple Impact is a surface-oriented wake bait designed to imitate baitfish, attracting fish with a high-pitch action and complex sound profile. Its body design, engineered to efficiently shed water from the lip, produces a high-pitch wobble and performs from slow steady retrieves to relatively fast retrieves. The large stainless steel propeller churns the surface and combines with the body’s movement to generate a distinctive noise.

To reduce the inertia produced by the rotating propeller and improve tracking, the shaft mounting angle is offset to the left and combined with a delta plate. The lure is primarily intended for surface retrieves, but adding rod movement allows for a varied presentation that temporarily dives on the jerk before returning to the surface. It is designed not only for continuous surface action, but also to trigger strikes by varying the lure’s movement. The ZT-111P is a 107 mm, 19 g floating model and a distinctive prop bait in the Bantam series, combining the propeller, lip, body action, and sound to target fish on the surface.
