Zappu Gain Bowhead

ZAPPU’s BOW HEAD is a jointed jig head with a structure unlike a Texas rig, developed from years of guiding experience for applications ranging from light Texas-rig fishing to working cover. Designed to maximize the action of the soft bait, it connects the head and hook with a split ring, allowing the joint to move freely. This enables a subtle, slow-paced presentation with limited forward movement while maintaining the worm’s natural freedom of movement. The carefully designed head shape and eye position also help it come through cover with ease.

The BOW HEAD is equipped with a Cultiva Skinny Lip 3/0 hook, making it easy to set up according to the size and shape of the worm. The split-ring connection also allows the hook to be replaced. It is ideal for techniques that crawl the bait along the bottom or work it slowly near cover while limiting forward movement. Available weights include 1/8 oz, 3/16 oz, 1/4 oz, 3/8 oz, 1/2 oz, and 3/4 oz. Select the appropriate weight based on the worm being used and the target depth, from light rig presentations to fishing deeper water or probing around cover.
