Cormoran Viva Potato

Cormoran Products’ Viva Potato is a high-density, crawfish- and squid-style soft lure designed to trigger bites primarily through its fall and a stationary presentation. Available in two sizes—38 mm and 45 mm—it can be selected according to the conditions on the water. Its high-density material provides class-leading weight for stable casting distance, while also offering excellent control not only during the fall but along the bottom.

One side of the body is molded into a ball shape, creating a design that makes the lure well suited to a backs sliding action and versatile enough for use from open water to areas around cover. The basic presentation is to let it fall on a weightless rig, then leave it in place, making it possible to target especially inactive fish with minimal movement. When additional weight is desired, it can also be rigged with a nail sinker inserted into the body. Slits in the body make it easy to accommodate the hook and are designed to help improve the hook-up rate. A special flavor is also blended in to add scent appeal while helping reduce the fish’s sense of unnaturalness when it bites.
