Gary International Co., Ltd.’s (Gary YAMAMOTO) 2.5" Ebi Tanuki inherits the characteristics of the Tanuki series while pursuing easy handling through its simple body and distinctive tail. Made from a high-density salty material and weighing approximately 5 g, it is well suited for casting from the bank and use with baitcasting tackle. The body is designed with a snag-resistant shape that slips easily through cover, making it easy to incorporate into techniques targeting cover, structure, and the bottom.

The tail can be used as is, or modified by splitting it into two or four sections. In its standard configuration, it produces an action created by the simple body and tail, while rigging the hook from the tail end allows for a backslide setup. Slits run throughout the body, making it easier to set the hook when a fish bites. The recommended hooks are Sugoi Hook #1/0–2/0, allowing you to choose the setup according to the application and density of the cover.
