Gary Yamamoto Dish Worm

Gary YAMAMOTO International’s 3″ D-SHU WORM is a 3-inch model designed primarily for a slow, vibration-free retrieve. By combining salted and non-salted materials on the top and bottom of the body, it maintains a stable swimming posture during the retrieve. Weighing approximately 2.3 g, it features a subtle action that takes advantage of the material characteristics.

The basic presentation is an I-shaped approach on a weightless rig using a Sugoi Hook #2. Retrieve it slowly at a constant speed just below the surface to naturally entice fish with no vibration. For probing the bottom, it is compatible with a light Carolina rig and is intended to be worked with a slow drag or steady retrieve. In addition to the standard model, the Feco-certified ECO 3″ D-SHU WORM is also available; this version is offered in three colors and uses a non-salted material.
