Gary Yamamoto’s 2.4″ DETRATOR is a compact craw-style soft bait designed for finesse fishing, featuring two pairs of antennae and claws. Its most distinctive feature, the antennae, receive water during the fall or when shaken, producing subtle vibrations as they tremble finely. The claws move widely when the bait is shaken, creating appeal through both the bait’s own natural action and the shaking action imparted by the rod.

It is designed for use as a small rubber jig trailer or on a drop-shot rig, and is well suited to being worked with subtle movements while making contact with the bottom, cover, or other structure. During the fall, the antennae tremble subtly, and after reaching the bottom, the claws move with shaking action, making it effective for presentations that minimize movement. Taking advantage of its easy-to-manage 2.4-inch size, it is ideal for carefully probing areas with compact rigs. It is available only in a 2.4-inch size, with both the standard material and a non-salted version available. Offered in 14 colors, with one pack per color.
