KEITECH’s TEE-BONE Buzzbait is designed to rise quickly to the surface after the cast and maintain a stable, consistent retrieve across the top. From the early stages of development, the propeller’s thickness, taper, and bend angle were finely tuned to optimize the speed of its rise, the startup of its rotation, and stability on the surface. Multiple wire diameters were also tested to achieve a balanced combination of vibration transmission, buoyancy, retrieve feel, and durability.

The propeller begins rotating quickly, producing smooth rotation and a distinctive sound. The arm shape is tuned to enhance straight-line tracking, stabilizing the lure’s position on the surface during the retrieve while suppressing unwanted rolling that can occur at high speeds. The compact head shape, reminiscent of a T-shaped frame, helps the bait rise and transition to the surface easily after landing. It is designed to pass through cover while maintaining consistent action around cover. The hook features a trailer-keeper mechanism that helps prevent the trailer from slipping while maintaining the proper hook-point position and overall balance. The basic presentation is to retrieve it at a consistent speed across the surface after the cast, making it suitable for situations where a straight-line topwater retrieve is desired.
