Keitech Shad Impact

KEITECH Inc.’s Shad Impact is a soft bait designed with materials of different weights to achieve the horizontal swimming posture characteristic of a shad bait. A lightweight, salt-free material is used in the upper part of the body, while a denser, salt-infused material is used in the lower part. The difference in weight between the upper and lower sections helps maintain balance underwater.

The asymmetrical body shape creates a rolling action during the retrieve. Combined with the dual-injection construction, which uses different materials within the body, it produces an action with flashing while maintaining its posture. Slits for hook placement are provided on both the top and bottom of the body, making it easier to align the hook. The 5-inch model is suitable for weightless swimming as well as split-shot rigs, Carolina rigs, shaky heads, and drop-shot rigs. The 2-inch model is well suited to more delicate presentations, such as small jig heads and drop-shot rigs with trout-style hooks. Since body volume and handling characteristics vary by size, the models can be selected according to the bait size and rig being used.
