Keitech Rubber Jig Archkey Type

KEITECH’s Arky-type rubber jig, Casting Jig Model I Ver. 2.0 (MODELⅠ Ver. 2.0 / Casting Jig Model I), is designed around a compact profile and a head shape that moves easily through cover, allowing the jig to be handled with a feel similar to a Texas rig. The resin tungsten head features KEITECH’s traditional teardrop shape. Because tungsten has a higher specific gravity than lead, the head is more compact at the same weight and is shaped to enter cover more easily. In Ver. 2.0, the head surface has been changed from a painted finish to a matte treatment to reduce light reflection. The brush guard holes around the nose are designed to minimize debris getting caught in the gap between the holes and the hook eye, balancing snag resistance with ease of use.

The skirt uses silicone rubber that flares easily and is assembled by hand. The light-action brush guard is set after adjusting the number of fibers, angle, and length to achieve a balance that allows the jig to deflect off cover while transitioning smoothly into the hookset. The custom short-shank, wide-gap hook is designed with the head’s movement, eye angle, hooking efficiency, and the balance between wire diameter and strength in mind. The trailer keeper features double barbs at both the top and bottom to help prevent a threaded soft bait from slipping. The 1/4 oz model weighs 7 g and is equipped with a #3/0 hook. It can be paired with trailers such as the Flex Chunk, Paddlin’ Beaver, and Flapper Grub for pitching and flipping around cover, as well as bottom-dragging presentations.
