Morris Triple Hook

Morris Nogales Zero Friction Treble Hooks are replacement treble hooks designed to turn short strikes and light bites on hard lures into solid hooksets. The hook points are honed to an ultra-sharp finish, while the surface features a “Zero Friction Coat” that reduces the coefficient of friction during hooksets to an extremely low level. They are designed to penetrate easily with minimal force, from the initial hookset through fish retention during the fight.

Careful attention has also been paid to the balance between the gap width and bend curve, creating a shape that is well suited to hookups from the outside of the mouth. Because the hooks themselves are lightweight, they are also suitable for setups that take advantage of the buoyancy of crankbaits and shad lures; replacing the hooks may affect the lure’s rise rate and its ability to avoid snags. They can be used to replace the hooks on metal vibration lures, shad lures, jerkbaits, crankbaits, and more, and are installed on the lure’s split rings. This model is designed to make the most of its sharp hook points and low-friction coating when opportunities are few or when fish are giving tentative, pecking bites.
