GAN CRAFT’s Ayuja 128 REST is a slim-bodied, long-lip minnow developed to faithfully reproduce the detailed swimming action of ayu. In addition to its realistic profile, the combination of the body shape, lip design, and weight balance produces a natural rolling action with reduced pulling resistance. It also minimizes the sound of the line cutting through the water, creating movement that makes the lure appear to swim on its own.

Its signature action is the “HAMI Dart,” which recreates the way ayu stay close to rocks and other surfaces while grazing on algae. The long lip responds quickly not only to powerful jerks but also to precise snap movements. By jerking the lure while rubbing the lip against the bottom, rocks, submerged timber, and other structure, anglers can produce its distinctive darting action. The lure can also be paused with the lip hooked against an obstacle or worked tightly around structure. The diving range can be adjusted by changing the timing and rhythm of the jerks, while the maximum depth on a straight retrieve is approximately 2.5 m. The magnetic weight-transfer system provides casting distance and produces stable darting action while suppressing unnecessary weight noise during jerking. Slow floating, 128 mm in length, and in the 3/4 oz class. Equipped with a three-hook system, it comes standard with Cultiva ST-36BC hooks in size #4 at the front, center, and rear.
