Owner’s C’ultiva Dressed Treble is a trailer hook that adds lifelike movement around the hook without significantly changing the lure’s action. The DT-36BC uses fawn back tail hair. This natural animal hair has no feather-like central shaft, and its fibers taper toward the tips, curling softly and flexibly. They respond to water flow and the lure’s movement with a pulsing action. While the lure is being worked with a retrieve or jerk, the fibers stay together, reducing water resistance and helping to avoid interfering with the lure’s original action.
During pauses, the fibers gently spread out one by one, generating subtle vibrations while disguising the presence of the hook. Natural animal hair is less affected by water temperature, making it more likely to retain movement during periods of low water temperature. It can be used to replace the rear hook on poppers, jerkbaits, vibrating lures, and other lures, and is suitable for techniques combining retrieves and jerks with pauses or lift-and-fall actions. Choose the hook size while considering the balance with the lure’s size, buoyancy, and action, then attach it to the rear hook for use.
