Owner Cultiva JH-14 Brush Head is a jig head designed to help maintain the worm’s posture in cover fishing while making it easier to achieve solid hooksets. To address the unstable underwater worm position and inconsistent hooksets often associated with Texas rigs, it features a jig-head design that allows the hook point to remain exposed while the sinker provides balance.
The head has a round shape suited to falling, swimming, and slipping through cover. It is fitted with a fine-wire hook that uses the flex of the gap to help achieve deeper hook penetration. The brush guard has been adjusted in number, length, and stiffness to provide both the strength needed to come through cover and the flexibility to avoid interfering with hooksets. It can be rigged with fat craw-style worms, straight worms, and other soft plastics, and is also used for reaction fishing with a hang-off technique, catching the bait on cover and then pulling it free. The lineup includes three sizes: 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4.
