For metal lures used to probe the bottom, it is also presented as a shape that helps reduce snagging. The SD-36 is a double hook made with regular wire, making it easy to match with a wide range of lures, from bass minnow plugs to lipless vibration lures.

The ST-26TN is a fine-wire treble hook with straight points, designed with an emphasis on hooking performance. It is intended for fishing techniques involving aggressive twitches of small plugs, as well as setups for detecting subtle bites while the lure is suspended. When replacing hooks, check the balance between the lure’s size, buoyancy, and action. When attaching the hook to a screw-eye-style eyelet, open the screw-eye side for installation rather than forcing the hook in from the hook side.
