Gamakatsu’s AVENGE CRANK 100 is a bite-inducing crankbait that combines the cover-deflecting performance of a crankbait with the natural action of a shad. It was developed to efficiently search bite zones that tend to become narrow on high-pressure waters, without relying solely on slow presentations. Its restrained, tight-pitch swimming action resembles an unsuspecting baitfish as it enters cover, designed to trigger strikes.
The carefully calculated lip shape and angle pursue a balance between cover deflection and action. The wide, round profile is designed for soft contact, while reduced buoyancy compared with conventional crankbaits and an integrated custom-molded weight help prevent the lure from straying far from its tracking course when it contacts an obstacle. It offers an excellent start-up response and handles everything from dead-slow to fast retrieves. Easy to work in the 1 m range, it is also less likely to pull too far away from structure when paused after making contact, creating more opportunities for bites around cover. It measures 55 mm in length, weighs 11 g, and is equipped with a #6 treble hook on the front and a #5 treble hook on the rear.
