Gamakatsu Twin Hook

Gamakatsu TWIN HOOKS feature a unique “Twin Hook System” that differs from both treble hooks and double hooks. These replacement hooks for lures are designed with an emphasis on the hooks’ ability to follow the fish’s movements during hook-setting and while fighting the fish. The two movable hooks adjust to the direction and opening angle of the fish’s mouth, continuing to follow changes in angle throughout the fight. This design is intended to help prevent the hook holes from becoming enlarged.

When attaching them to a plug, setting the hook points facing outward helps reduce contact noise caused by the hooks hitting the lure body, much like treble hooks. They are suitable for situations where you want to avoid interference with the lure body while minimizing changes to the lure’s action caused by replacing the hooks. The lineup includes the Twin SP-M, featuring a Nano Smooth Coat; the Twin SP-MH, with different wire diameters and size specifications; and the Twin SP-M BIG BAIT SP, designed for large plugs. Choose the appropriate model according to the size of the lure being used and the required strength. The standard Twin SP-M is available in sizes #8 through #3.
