Gamakatsu Theorize

Gamakatsu’s THEORIZE is a worm hook series featuring a gap design intended to reduce pullouts during hooksets, which can occur easily with offset hooks, by making it easier for the hook point to contact deeper in the fish’s mouth. The THEORIZE OFFSET WG features one of the widest gaps available for its hook length, making it suitable for short bites, reeling hooksets, and sweep hooksets. Its shape allows the hook point to emerge easily from the worm, and it is available in L (Light), M (Medium), and H (Heavy) power classes to match the worm, rig, and tackle. The hook features a Nano Smooth Coat finish.

The THEORIZE OFFSET SWG (Super Wide Gap), with an even wider gap, is designed to make the hook point more likely to emerge from bulky worms. SWG-M is suitable for swimming 3.5- to 6-inch-class shad-tail worms and weightless presentations with backslide-style worms, while SWG-H is available in sizes 7/0 and 8/0. The THEORIZE OFFSET SWG-M WEIGHTED is a weighted model that makes it easier to trace a slightly deeper range when swimming shad-tail worms, with a center-of-gravity balance designed to promote a horizontal fall. Each model can be selected according to the worm’s bulk, target depth, and presentation style.
