Gamakatsu’s TRAILER HOOK is a basic-style trailer hook that can be attached to a lure hook with a single, one-touch operation. Used in addition to a plug’s hook, it makes it easy to adjust the number and positioning of hook points, allowing anglers to create setups designed to better handle short bites.
Available in two specifications: Nano Smooth Coat and NSB. The Nano Smooth Coat version features a hook with a smooth surface finish and is offered in sizes #4–1 and 1/0, while the NSB version is available in sizes #6–1 and 1/0–2/0. When selecting a size, it is important to check the hook size of the plug being used, possible interference with the body, and whether there is enough room for the hook to move freely. Installation is simple: just pass the trailer hook’s eye over the lure-side hook. This also allows for smooth hook replacement and setup changes.
