Owner’s Shunkan Hook (B-94 / B-94BC) is a worm hook designed with an emphasis on penetration to reliably catch short bites under high pressure and bites at long-distance targets when shore fishing. Its fine-wire design enhances ease of penetration while accommodating delicate tackle setups. The hook point features a long-tapered, straight point, shaped to enter the fish’s mouth more easily even with a sweeping hookset.
Select the hook size according to the worm’s size and bulk, and rig it so as not to impede the worm’s action. This versatile design accommodates not only a firm hookset, but also a sweeping hookset in which the rod is moved smoothly while maintaining line tension. The B-94BC Shunkan BC is a model based on the Shunkan Hook’s fundamental design and finished with a black chrome coating, available in sizes from #6 through 3/0. It can be selected to match the rig and worm being used, from small, finesse-oriented worms to larger worms.
