OSP HP Stick

O.S.P’s HP Stick is designed to maximize the ease of use expected from a stick bait, with an emphasis on making accurate presentations to targeted spots and enticing bites on the fall. Key features include a centerline that makes it easy to rig the bait body perfectly straight, along with perforated slit sections used extensively to partially conceal the hook point while also supporting solid hook-ups.

The body is symmetrical from top to bottom and side to side, making it easy to turn over and re-rig even when the hook-holding power has decreased or the slits have been damaged. When rigged perfectly straight, it produces highly controlled darts on a weightless rig and a smooth, stable fall, while a light Texas rig delivers a fall with reduced tendency to spin off-axis. Despite its simple, appendage-free design, it is also engineered with casting distance and skipping performance in mind.

The 3-inch model is designed for use with a #1 or #1/0 offset hook, measuring 3 inches in length and weighing approximately 5 g. In addition to weightless and light Texas rigs on bait finesse tackle, it can also be used for wacky rigging with a small hook or on a jig head rig. The standard setup is to insert the hook straight along the centerline of the body and conceal the hook point in the slit.
