OSP Flutter Tube

OSP’s Flutter Tube is a hollow-body tube worm designed to combine secure holding performance that resists slipping under the load of an action with hooking performance that allows the hook point to emerge easily when a fish bites. It uses a slightly firm, flavored and scented, non-salt semi-hard material. The hollow interior allows the body to collapse easily when a fish bites, making it easier to expose the hook point. The vertically symmetrical body is designed to be turned inside out and used again when damaged.

The head features a reverse tail, with an ultra-small shad-tail-shaped appendage positioned upside down to generate subtle vibrations during swimming. The curly appendage, which is generally positioned toward the rear, is placed along the front sides, creating an alluring action close to the hook point while maintaining a compact body size. Fine ribs are molded into the frill skirt, allowing it to flutter even in slight water currents. It is suitable for everything from steady retrieves to slow presentations along the bottom, while techniques such as bottom bumping use the buoyancy of the hollow body and its appendages to create a lifelike presence. The hook-holding section is made thicker to help prevent the worm from sliding during the retrieve.
