OSP HP Fish

O.S.P’s HP Fish is a swimming worm developed to recreate everything from the relaxed swimming motion of baitfish to the frantic escape of prey pursued by predatory fish. Its action is centered around a wobble, and the large fish tail swings with subtle, rapid movements while maintaining a completely horizontal swimming posture, creating appeal through the water displacement generated by the tail. It maintains a stable action from slow retrieves to extremely fast retrieves, and when the retrieve is stopped, it transitions into a horizontal fall in place, allowing it to be fished with a combination of steady retrieves and falling presentations. During escape-style manipulation, the resistance felt while reeling in and the sudden stop immediately after letting the bait run create a change of pace that can trigger fish less responsive to a standard steady retrieve.

The body is made from a non-salt material for high durability and is designed to resist slipping after the hook has been rigged. Around cover, it can be skipped into tight areas with ease, and it can be used with weightless rigs, Texas rigs, jigheads, and as a trailer. The recommended hook is an offset hook size 4/0, and the recommended tackle is a medium-power baitcasting setup measuring 6.3–6.10 ft.
