The O.S.P Sinker series is designed with a focus on rig control and transmitting information from the bottom. The O.S.P Sinker Whip is intended for use with shad Carolina rigs and features a through-wire system that prevents the sinker from moving along the line. This helps minimize power loss during jerks while also reducing excessive line abrasion caused by sinker movement. Its sintered tungsten construction and matte black color help reduce water resistance and flash, while the shape is designed to promote a straight-running action and a natural falling posture after the jerk. The official recommended depth ranges are 4–6 m for 3.5 g, 5–8 m for 5 g, and 7–10 m for 7 g.
The O.S.P SINKER Direct is designed to cast well, sink quickly and straight, and make it easier to detect changes in the bottom while avoiding obstacles. In addition to its low center of gravity, the rounded top helps reduce the risk of becoming wedged between rocks or concrete wave-dissipating blocks, while also helping protect the inner tube through which the line passes. The inner tube is designed with the diameter of the line in mind. With a free rig, the worm and sinker separate easily, creating a natural presentation. The waist edge picks up bottom contours and rocks, providing controlled movement that does not slip through obstacles too easily and making it easier to transmit information about the underwater terrain.
