OSP Drive Shot

OSP’s DoLiveShot is a soft bait designed specifically for backslide fishing, inheriting the fall speed, action, and hook-setting performance achieved with the backslide setup of the DoLiveStick, while allowing efficient presentation around any type of cover. The body roll works in tandem with its eight frill skirts, creating a natural, self-propelled fall on a weightless rig as it sways from side to side—reproducing the movement of a live giant river prawn drifting through the water. The frill skirts feature ultra-fine ribs that help prevent tangling; a light lift of the rod makes them flare open, while feeding line causes them to push water as they kick back. In addition to the standard weightless backslide presentation, which can be sent along the edges of cover or into bushes, it can also be used with a shot rig by inserting a 0.3–1.8 g nail sinker into the nail hole on the underside of the body, improving casting distance and penetration through cover. When rigged in the standard direction, it can also be used with high-speed twitches to make the frill skirts flow enticingly. The 4.5-inch model weighs approximately 10 g and is recommended for use with a T.N.S Offset 4/0 hook. The 4-inch model has a reduced body length and width, along with less frill-skirt volume, maintaining the water-pushing action of the kickback while reducing its weight to approximately 6.3 g. The recommended hook is an Offset #2/0, making it suitable for a finesse-oriented backslide presentation.
