OSP Louder

OSP’s LOUDER is a floating topwater lure developed to enhance the fish-attracting performance of a popper and handle situations where a pencil bait does not provide enough attraction. Combining a long nose with a large cup, its “Break Water” structure on the upper interior of the cup catches water and pushes it forward, producing popping sounds, splashes, and columns of water. Its high-specific-gravity design and rear-weighted balance provide casting distance and accuracy, while after landing it floats in a slightly vertical posture to grip the water and deliver strong on-the-spot performance, resisting movement toward the angler under line tension. The 70 features a large rear weight that moves back and forth to create rattle sounds and weight-to-wall impact sounds, and it supports neck-swinging manipulation and darter action, from short twitches to powerful jerks. The 60 measures 60 mm and weighs 8.4 g, with a design that minimizes tangling between the front and rear hooks and supports a double-hook configuration using vertically oriented hook hangers. The 50 is a compact 50 mm, 4.7 g model featuring a high-specific-gravity design with the weight housed inside the body, along with the maximum amount of feather and tinsel, for quiet landings and precise one-spot control. Fluorocarbon line can be used to angle the cup downward for easier production of popping sounds, while nylon line can be used to angle the cup upward for easier generation of water columns and splashes. Directly tying the line to the eye is recommended; when using a snap, a small size is intended. The 50, 60, and 70 can be selected according to their size and weight specifications: 50 mm/4.7 g, 60 mm/8.4 g, and 70 mm/12 g.
