OSP Drive Crawler

OSP’s DOLIVE CRAWLER is designed to give a simple straight worm a new crawling action. Through careful balancing of its shape, firm material, and weight, it produces an action in which the entire body undulates in response to rod movements. The voluminous head makes it easy to insert a nail sinker and is shaped to help prevent it from slipping out during casting and retrieves. The thick, flat tail enhances the shimmy action and water displacement, conveying a strong presence through the movement of both the body and tail.

The body features a semi-ring design that catches water across its entire length while combining the flexibility expected of a straight worm with the resilience needed to produce a wacky action, along with moderate water displacement and fall speed. Its firm material and salt-based specific gravity allow it to begin moving with minimal manipulation, while shrimp and squid powders are blended into the material. The centerline makes it easy to insert the hook straight and functions as a slit for concealing the hook point when rigged with an offset hook. For a wacky rig, the area where the octopus hook is inserted is reinforced with extra-thick material. For a neko rig, insert a nail sinker into the head and use rod movements to make the body crawl along the bottom. Available in 3.5-, 4.5-, 5.5-, 6.5-, and 9-inch sizes.
