OSP Mylar Minnow

OSP Mylarminnow is a shad-minnow-shaped soft lure developed to recreate the lifelike appearance and movement of baitfish. In addition to its natural body shape and realistic eyes, it features a Mylar tube inside the body. The tube functions as a reflector, producing a scale-like shimmer and a flashing effect unlike that of conventional soft plastics. Because the intensity of the flash varies depending on the color of the Mylar tube, the lure’s presentation can be adjusted to suit water clarity and fish response.

The buoyant body produces a rolling action and alternating flashes when shaken on a jighead rig. The fine pin tail responds to subtle movements, vibrating at a high frequency to entice fish. On a dropshot rig, the body’s buoyancy helps maintain its position, while shaking produces a rolling action and twitching creates a darting motion accompanied by flashes. It can also be used for no-sinker surface twitching, mid-strolling, hover strolling, and nail rigs. The 2.5-inch model is suited to sight fishing when matching small baitfish, while the 3.5-inch model is easy to handle even when fished weightless, allowing anglers to choose between them based on bait size and desired action.
