OSP High Pitcher

OSP’s HIGH PITCHER was developed as a small- to medium-sized spinnerbait for targeting big bass even under high-pressure conditions. Particular attention was paid to the blade design, which features a flat front and deeply cupped rear—the reverse of a conventional blade shape. This design produces strong vibration and flash, while the natural surface finish helps prevent excessive light reflection.

The head features a low-center-of-gravity design that resists losing balance even under the power of the blades. Its shape also helps it avoid snagging weeds and slip easily through cover. It accommodates everything from a standard retrieve to slow presentations, allowing the swimming depth to be adjusted through retrieve speed and rod manipulation. In addition to being retrieved at a steady speed around structure, it can also be used for slow rolling while maintaining contact with the bottom. Besides tying directly to the line eye and retrieving, it also supports setups with an added trailer hook depending on the conditions.

Available weights include 1/4 oz, 5/16 oz, 3/8 oz, 1/2 oz, 5/8 oz, and 1 oz, with differently colored beads assigned to each weight. This makes it easier to identify the weight even when rotating between lures. Blade types include TW and DW, with DC available exclusively in the 1 oz model. It also features a worm keeper that holds worms securely while helping prevent them from tearing.
