Evergreen Jungle Walker

Evergreen’s JungleWalker is a spinnerbait developed for targeting big bass in recent years of increasingly pressured Lake Biwa. It is designed to combine strong fish-attracting appeal with bite-inducing performance. Its larger blades announce its presence through water displacement and silhouette, while producing a slim, tight vibration with a narrow rotation angle. As it moves through weeds and cover, changes in posture and hang-off action when it contacts obstacles create additional opportunities for bites.

The head features a V-shaped keel design with a tapered nose, sloped planes on both sides, and a wide, low-center-of-gravity section toward the rear. This construction stabilizes the swimming posture and helps the bait handle fast retrieves despite its larger blades, while still providing a moderate amount of resistance during slow retrieves. The tapered head enters weeds, while the sloped planes and wide rear section spread the weeds and allow the bait to break free, reducing interference with the hook point. Midwater obstacles are detected by the sloped planes, while a nearly flat bottom surface contacts bottom obstacles and transmits that contact directly to the angler. The blades are original-design willow-leaf blades with a slim profile and moderate thickness, balancing quick startup with strong water displacement. Other features include 1.0 mm stainless-steel wire, a wide-gap hook made with heavy-gauge wire, and a silicone rubber skirt with strong water displacement.

The lineup consists of 5/8 oz and 3/4 oz double-willow-leaf models. In addition to long casts and fast retrieves made possible by their heavier weights, they can be used from shallow to mid-depth water and are suited to techniques such as continuing to retrieve while contacting weeds or cover, or imparting an action the moment the bait touches an obstacle. The 5/8 oz model is equipped with a size #4 front blade and size #5 rear blade, while the 3/4 oz model features a size #4 front blade and size #6 rear blade.
