EVERGREEN’s STABIL is a hybrid rig designed to combine the advantages of a leaderless drop shot and a rubber jig, delivering a trailer worm to the bottom or cover in a stable position. The sinker is made from high-density, sintered tungsten with a specific gravity of approximately 18. Its elongated, low-center-of-gravity design features a flat underside for improved compactness, cover penetration, and sensitivity. The swivel helps keep the flat side facing the bottom, while the sinker’s resistance to rolling makes it easier to maintain the trailer worm’s position. Because the hard head contacts the bottom or cover before the worm, it helps prevent the worm from slipping and the hook point from becoming exposed, reducing snags.

For bottom presentations such as dragging and bottom-bumping, the hook eye is positioned to keep the head facing downward. This minimizes the tendency of the hook-eye side to lift, which can occur with conventional leaderless drop shots, for a more low-rising presentation. Fine silicone rubber strands are hand-tied in a limited quantity, combining the appeal of the rubber with a mosaic effect that softens the outline of the trailer worm. The hook is a Gamakatsu LD Master, designed for secure worm holding and stable positioning with its large eye, sharply angled crank section, long shank, and straight shank shape. The hook and sinker can each be replaced independently. The 3.5 g model combines a 3.5 g sinker and a 2.0 g head with an LD Master #1/0, while the 5.0 g model combines a 5.0 g sinker and a 2.0 g head with an LD Master #3/0.
