Evergreen i-macho

Evergreen International’s I-Macho is a 2.8-inch I-shaped soft bait developed to imitate an unsuspecting baitfish, with emphasis on its alluring bulk, casting distance, and ability to track straight during retrieves. It features a unique integrated construction in which each section works together to maintain a horizontal posture, suppress rising, and achieve a stable swim with minimal wobble.

The flattened body provides ample bulk for its length, helping generate water displacement and casting distance, while the 45-degree angled ribs direct water upward to suppress head lift. The tail incorporates an inverted vertical-fin design that integrates vertical and horizontal fins to reduce rolling and instability. In addition, stealth-style horizontal pectoral fins, equivalent to pectoral fins, function as stabilizers to help control the I-shaped posture and maintain the target depth. The wide head makes it easy to rig with hooks or nail sinkers, while the centerline serves as a guide for aligning the hook straight.

The lineup includes the high-buoyancy foam-material H model and natural-color models. The former is suited to suspending in a horizontal posture, creating a large wake, and dead-slow falling, while the latter is suited to long casts and situations requiring the bait to be retrieved at a slightly deeper range. In addition to weightless I-shaped retrieves, it can be used with drop-shot rigs, retrieving Carolina rigs, neko rigs, jighead rigs, as a trailer for small rubber jigs, and hanging techniques. Recommended hook sizes are Masu Barbless #7 and Offset #2.
