Evergreen Bass Enemy

EVERGREEN’s Bass Enemy combines the fish-catching ability of a high-density stick bait that falls vertically with a subtle wobble while maintaining a horizontal posture, with the minute vibrations generated by its ultra-thin tail. The flat belly makes it easy for the body to catch water, producing a slow, wobbling fall. A slit on the belly serves as a hook-insertion guide, while the back features ribs and slits that make it easy to position the hook point. The tail’s ultra-thin design minimizes interference with the horizontal fall, while its uneven shape, featuring multiple small protrusions, helps prevent it from sticking to cover and other surfaces. Despite being made from a salt-infused, high-density material, it is tuned slightly soft with an emphasis on action, and uses a formula infused with shrimp, squid, and baitfish components.

The basic rig is a weightless rig with the hook set so the tail tip points upward. It is suitable for free-fall, lift-and-fall, and fall-and-stay presentations, as well as steady retrieves, dragging, and twitching. During the fall, the body trembles subtly while the tail moves slowly as if gently fanning the water. On a steady retrieve, it swims with a rolling action while wagging its head from side to side. When twitched, the tail acts as a brake, producing sharp, darting movements to either side. Even under line tension, the tail’s resistance helps minimize forward movement, making it suitable for working around pilings and along rock faces. Available in 2.9-inch, 3.5-inch, and 4.5-inch sizes, with recommended hook sizes of #3–2, #2/0–3/0, and #3/0–4/0, respectively.
