Evergreen C-4 Jig

Evergreen’s C-4 JIG is a finesse rubber jig developed by Ken Fukushima, incorporating his experience and meticulous attention to detail while pursuing the stability and controllability required of a small jig. Based on his custom-made jigs, it features a resin tungsten head. By fine-tuning the head shape and the position and angle of the line eye, the jig maintains a stable underwater posture from the fall through bottom contact, making it easier to sense bottom conditions.

The skirt uses custom silicone rubber designed with careful consideration given to the size, amount, combination, and volume of the glitter. Randomly cut strands create a natural silhouette. The head is designed to catch moderately on the bottom and cover, while its combination with the line eye also supports hang-off techniques, in which the jig is snagged and then popped free. The wire trailer keeper securely holds small trailers in place, helping stabilize the jig’s posture during retrieves and fast pickups while reducing line twist. The hook features an original design based on carefully selected wire diameter and shape. The 1.3 g, 1.8 g, and 2.2 g models have a single weed guard, while the 2.7 g, 3.3 g, and 3.8 g models have three. The jig can be used for midwater swimming, bottom dragging, falling, and snag-and-release techniques around cover. With weights ranging from 1.3 g to 3.8 g, anglers can choose the appropriate model according to cover density and the desired feel during operation.
