Evergreen Spin Move Shad

EVERGREEN International’s Spin Move Shad is a suspending shad developed to compensate for the lack of appeal and punch often associated with compact shads, triggering reaction strikes from wary bass and fish that are slow to respond to lures. Its signature action makes a sudden transition from “motion”—a powerful spinning movement and crisp vibration—to “stillness,” seemingly disappearing the instant the retrieve is stopped. It measures 5.5 cm in length, weighs 5.0 g, and is designed to run at a depth of 1.5–2.5 m.

The body incorporates an arch-shaped, full-length weight-transfer system that uses a tungsten moving weight to prevent it from returning from the tail to the front due to changes in flight posture caused by wind and other factors, maintaining a stable casting posture. It performs well not only with twitching techniques, but also when simply retrieved straight and paused, making it suitable for high-speed retrieves in clear water and precise stops beside cover. #10 hooks are recommended for both the front and rear, with #2 split rings for the front and rear hook eyes. The suspending setting becomes an ultra-slow floater at a water temperature of 7°C, so buoyancy changes caused by atmospheric pressure, water temperature, or line pound test can be adjusted by replacing the split rings or making similar modifications.
